The session is an integral part of Irish culture.

For generations, the Irish have come together to socialise in the pubs, not only to exchange news, but also to play music. Much traditional Irish music is passed down from one generation to another in this manner- some of it never is put on paper.
Our session takes place every Sunday- at around 8pm.

Here you still experience an evening of pure Irish traditional music, played on instruments such as the Bodhran, Uillean pipes, flute, fiddle, accordion.

As in Ireland, whoever wants to play is welcome. Maybe there will be three musicians, maybe 30-you never know your luck. Our session has grown over the years, and the enthusiasm of the musicians shows.

They come, not because they have to play a gig that was booked weeks beforehand, but because they are really in the humour to play Irish music, to exchange tunes and ideas with their friends and of course, to have a few beers and..

.. maybe the odd whiskey!
